Connecting Airbnb with BookersDesk

To ensure a smooth and accurate connection between Airbnb and BookersDesk, it is important to follow the steps below carefully. Each action should be performed in the given order to avoid synchronization issues.

Steps to Connect Airbnb with BookersDesk

1. Initial Steps

  1. Log in to Airbnb using the credentials of the property you want to connect.
  2. Go to Channel Manager > Airbnb.
  3. Disconnect any existing account connections with the property and all listings in the Room Mapping section if applicable. If not, proceed to the next steps.

2. Connecting with BookersDesk

  1. After logging into airbnb.com, go to panel.bookersdesk.com and navigate to OTA Management > Airbnb.
  2. Click "Connect with Airbnb". You will be redirected to the Airbnb page.
  3. Grant permission by clicking "Allow".

3. Configuration in Channel Manager

Return to OTA Management > Airbnb > Property Settings and follow these steps:

  1. Click "Connect Airbnb Account" to link the previous account.
  2. In Instant Booking, select "Anyone".
  3. In Pending and Requested Bookings, select “Import All”.
  4. Under Inquiry and Requests, click "Import All" and then "Save".
  5. Click Currency > Euro to ensure exported prices to Airbnb are in Euros instead of Dollars.
  6. Click "Save" again after setting the currency.

Then, on the same page, proceed with Room Mapping:

  1. Click the "Link" option for each listing.
  2. Rooms are linked to the Main rate plan. If you want a different rate plan, go to Pricing > Rate Management and select the appropriate rate plan.
  3. Check Airbnb for that rate plan and return to the OTA Management > Airbnb page.
  4. Click "Refresh" for each listing to sync prices with the selected rate plan.

Click "IMPORT EXISTING RESERVATIONS" if you need to fetch reservations from Airbnb.

4. Disconnecting the Property

If you want to disconnect the property, click the "Disconnect Property" button at the bottom, and the connection with Airbnb will be removed. You will no longer be able to make changes via BookersDesk.

Benefits of Connecting

Once you complete all the steps, the connection will be active, and your properties will automatically sync between Airbnb and BookersDesk, ensuring efficient management of availability and pricing.
