Setting clear flexibility rules helps manage guest expectations and avoid misunderstandings during bookings. In this section, you can define and modify cancellation rules, prepayment policies, and capacity restrictions for a more organized and transparent experience.
How to manage booking rules?
Setting Cancellation Policies
- Decide whether bookings can be canceled for free within a certain period or if penalties apply for late cancellations.
- Ensure these rules are visible to guests on the booking page.
- After making changes, don't forget to click "save" to apply them.
To add and manage booking rules, log in to Panel > Website i rezervimeve > Rregullat e rezervimit.
Here you can create and edit cancellation and prepayment policies.
To define the booking type, you need to:

Click on Booking Type to define how you want to securely receive bookings. There are several types:
Break Period - closed for bookings
a) Automatically Confirmed - confirmed without security
b) Request - manual confirmation required
c) Request with Credit Card - card details are collected
d) Confirmed with Credit Card - card details have been collected - After making changes, don’t forget to click "save" to apply them.
To define the cancellation deadline, you need to:
- Click on the "Allow cancellations" option.
- Choose the scenario that applies to you.

Collecting Credit Card Data
You can collect credit card data when a guest books directly through your booking page. To enable this option, go to Booking Website > Booking Rules and set the option Request CVC = 'YES'. If this parameter is not enabled, the system will not store or process the CVC as credit card information. Card data collection rules can only be applied to bookings with manual approval..
- Go to Booking Website > Booking Rules The "Request CVC" option must be enabled in order for the system to store or process CVC as credit card information.
- When this option is enabled, guests will be required to enter their credit card details to complete the booking.
- Specify which credit cards you will accept for bookings.
- Click Save to save the changes.

Managing Prepayments
- Choose whether guests must pay a deposit to confirm the booking.
- Define whether the payment should be made immediately or a specific period before arrival.
- Once you make the changes, don’t forget to click "save" to store them.
