Steps for Using Discount Codes

1. Overview

You can set up discount codes and phrases. If a guest enters the phrase at the time of booking, the corresponding discount will be applied to their reservation.

Do not use special characters in the discount code or phrase.

2. Discount Codes That Can Be Used for Multiple Bookings

Such codes can be used multiple times. They are often used for promotions or special offers for specific guests:

  1. Typical uses for discount phrases include offering discounts for marketing campaigns with bonus discounts for those who know the phrase.
  2. If a discount is mandatory, the phrase must be entered to complete the booking. Guests who do not enter the phrase cannot proceed with the reservation.
  3. You can deactivate discount codes for daily rates or fixed rates (for fixed rates, in the "discount" tab of the fixed price section).
  4. If a reservation includes more than one fixed price, the discount code will be applied to the entire booking, provided the fixed prices allow the use of the discount code.
  5. If the guest books multiple rooms, the "Multiple Fixed" discount code will be applied to each room.

3. Managing Upsells with Discounts

  • Discount codes can be applied to the room price, upsells, or both.
  • When applied to upsell items, the discount code will only be applied to upsell items that appear before the first mandatory percentage-based item.
  • If there are no mandatory percentage-based upsells, the discount code will be applied to all upsell items.

4. To Add, Modify, or Delete a Discount Code:

Add a New Code

  1. Add a new code by clicking the option to create one.
  2. Fill in the fields for the discount phrase and other specifications by clicking the “Edit” button.
  3. After making changes, remember to click "Save" to save them.

Modify an Existing Code

  1. Click on the discount code you want to modify and change the details such as description, validity date, and other options.
  2. Fill in the fields for the discount phrase and other specifications by clicking the “Edit” button.
  3. After making changes, remember to click "Save" to save them.

Delete a Discount Code

To delete a code, click on the code you want to remove and select the delete option.

After confirmation, the code will be deleted and will no longer be available for use.
