Price adjustments in BookersDesk
Quickly adjust room rates over selected periods with flexibility and control
The Price adjustments feature in BookersDesk allows you to instantly increase or decrease your room prices over specific dates and for selected room types. You can apply changes as either a percentage or a fixed amount, across one or multiple rate plans. This tool is especially useful for responding to market demand, launching limited-time offers, or applying seasonal pricing strategies.
What can you do with this feature?
- Select the property
At the top of the page, you can choose the property you want to manage. This is especially useful for users who manage multiple properties under a single account.
- Choose rooms and rate plans
You can select one or more room types from the available list. For each room, choose which rate plan you want to apply the change to (e.g., "Standard Rate" or "Website").
- Define the date range
Use the calendar pickers to select a start date and an end date . All rates within this time period will be affected by the adjustment. .
- Choose the adjustment type
You can select one of two methods for price changes:
Percentage (%) – e.g., +10% to increase existing prices by 10%, or -5% to reduce them.
Fixed Amount (€, $, etc.) – e.g., +5 EUR to add ?5 to the current price, or -3 EUR to subtract.
An input field allows you to enter the exact value for the adjustment.
- Select specific days of the week (Optional)
If you want the adjustment to apply only on specific weekdays (e.g., only Fridays and Saturdays), click " Select days " and choose the days accordingly.
- Click "Apply" to confirm changes
Once you've configured all settings, click Apply to save the changes. The system will update the prices for the selected rooms and dates based on your configuration.
Example use case
- Rooms: "Deluxe Double Room" and "Single Room with Balcony"
- Date Range : July 10 – July 20, 2025
- Adjustment Type :+15% (percentage-based increase)
or +10 EUR (fixed amount increase) - Days selected : Thursday, Friday, Saturday The system will increase the prices for the selected rooms only on the specified days within the chosen date range.
